Thanks. People get so hostile about this subject, but some of the greatest works of literature of all time were self-published. Huckleberry Finn, Walden, the list goes on. It bothers me when the academic community acts like a bunch of entitled jerks. There's a reason they say "I published" instead of "I was published"... it's because they're paying.
