Thanks! There's a lot to extract from examples like 'Dragonlance,' but when I say it represents an example that warrants further study, academics laugh me out of the room.

It's also odd that Random House would give them a distribution agreement. I think Random House was chortling about it until the 'Dragonlance' books started outselling Random House fantasy.

It appears as if TSR signed a bad contract and it eventually led to their demise. In my own experience, the few times I've had good distribution, my work has really taken off. Most of the time, it feels like there's an effort to PREVENT my work from being distributed.

I'm sure the same is true with the albums of your friend. Do you have a link to the album by the way?
