That was a hard couple of months. I made sure to do all my communication via email or phone because I didn't want to risk losing it at school. I was so angry. I guess, in this case, emotional maturity meant recognizing I wasn't fully in control of myself. Protection instincts are difficult to override. Thanks for the comment!
