That's a good starting point to get people thinking in a different direction. I wonder if things have changed now that big conglomerates own all the papers. Today, papers don't often turn a profit because part of turning a profit is creating a product the public wants to consume. I don't feel as if modern media is funded by gaining the attention of the public. Instead, it's an industry that loses money in order to propagate propaganda. This is an interesting topic. I hadn't remembered that you went to UW-LaCrosse. Thanks for the comment!
