That's a helpful perspective. Thanks for that! I'm glad you're noticing more media that promotes rational perspectives. I just keep having the impression that there is such a conservative slant to everything. Even when they're covering an election, they always start with glamor shots of the conservative candidate. It's so rare that the side of reason is even given a fair shake (in my opinion).

Maybe my perspective comes from my belief that most of the conservative platform positions don't meet the basic requirements of legitimate debate. This reproductive healthcare thing is so infuriating. It's so OBVIOUS that doctor's have to be allowed to save women's lives if they encounter complications. We're not there though... and that's deeply disturbing.
