That's a very interesting post. There are a lot of markets out there and many have a very streamlined process. I've always found the best strategy is to get to know editors when possible. It's just like getting a job. If you know somebody who works at the business personally, your chances of landing a position (or selling an article) rise astronomically. Good article!
