That's a wonderful anecdote and it's exactly the type of thing I also had to deal with. The blatant lying and hypocrisy is right there. That "I'm never wrong" attitude of the patriarch is something that makes me sick to my stomach. The gaslighting over who build the slide... ungh... Thanks for sharing.
