That's just awful that you had to endure that. If you haven't learned piano yet, I suggest you start. My daughter started last year and it's amazing how good she got in a year. It's never too late. There were students that started when they were 3 or 4 (my daughter is 12), but she caught up to them in a year, so all that stuff about starting young is nonsense.
