The Big Mac was overpriced when I lived in Peru as well. There was a place down the street where you could get a steak dinner with a glass of wine for the same price as a Big Mac meal. I could never understand how it remained in business.

I hope our society stabilizes soon. It will depend on if we keep decent leadership in the White House in 2024, or if the right-wing fascists get in. Sigh... why can't things ever just get better?
