The problem with the WWII generation is that it was the Jim Crow era. Even though we had black soldiers in the military, they were denied the benefits of the GI Bill. That's an appalling act of racism.

I think the idea of a clueless president might have been the right choice. I wish our media would do more to expose how out of touch our politicians are. They just don't have the problems with basic life security of working class people. Thanks for the comment!
