The rewriting of history involved in the pledge is just bizarre in my mind. People act like the Founding Fathers wrote it. It's an advertising jingle, and adding in "under God" was just putting insult on top of injury. We'll see what happens, you'd think trump would crumble under the pressure, there's signs he's already coming apart at the seams. But it would be nice to live in a country where all the citizens denounced attacks on the Capitol... shesh, that's not asking for much is it? Thanks for the comment!
