This conversation needs to place greater emphasis on human life. Did you know that 38 transgender people were murdered in 2022 (https://www.hrc.org/resources/fatal-violence-against-the-transgender-and-gender-non-conforming-community-in-2022). I mean, if one side of the argument is trying to stop 38 murders it kind of makes the statement "well, they might have an advantage high school sports" seem kind of irrelevant... don't you think?
Also, transgender kids are the group with the highest rate of suicide (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32345113/). I think focusing on a more tolerant society will advance our progress in women's athletics, not negate it.
Our first objective is to stop the targeting of innocent kids. After that we can worry about athletic events.
