This is a lovely post although I'm sorry for the hardship you endured. It's a hard thing to learn that we have to continue to be kind even though some people will take advantage of us for that. I struggle with that still, but I always feel better when I follow my inner calling, even if it doesn't end like I had hoped. It's about the journey, not the destination. Thanks for sharing!
