This is an excellent comment. You should expand it into an article. I absolutely agree with the need for oversight in the tech industry the same as there is need for oversight in the banking industry. Part of the problem is that the majority of our politicians are so illiterate when it comes to technology that they don't even know how to attach a document to an email. They simply lack the context to understand the challenges we're facing.
