Those two action figures are the only ones that survived. I might be able to dig around my wife's house for more.

I like the question of whether "nerd culture" is an appropriate term. I might do another essay on that one. Not a combative one, but just something to explore the idea more (if I get to it).

I feel there's still an outsider status for science fiction and fantasy, and I'm not sure that's good for society... but I'll have to develop my argument. Thanks for the thoughtful replies.
