Trump is a racist. As a parent, you have a responsibility to educate your children on the evils of racism. The responsibilities of a parent are the foundation of the strength of our nation.

You can’t give yourself a pass by saying we need to “co-exist.” Racists do not conform to the rules of civil discourse. Racists don’t allow people to co-exist. You can’t sit this one out.

Would you stand back and do nothing if your children decided they were going to commit suicide? Or if they were killing themselves with drugs? No, you’d intervene. Trump support is another situation that demands an intervention.

It’s important to develop a comprehension of the reality our country currently faces. This is not like any other election. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, and a lot of lives will be affected by your position. I urge you to do the right thing.
