Very thoughtful and reflective piece! At 46, I often reflect on chapters in my life and they seem totally different now than they did when I experienced them. I assume that will only continue as I get older. I suppose there are things we regret. You can't share your time with people that have known you all your life unless you've endeavored to be a good person. Easier said than done! Good for you for sharing these moments, that certainly is a privilege.
