Very thoughtful post on a tough subject. I asked the pastor in my community to help do something about all the hate speech directed at immigrants, but he refused. That's usually where I start if I get cornered into a conversation about religion. The other thing I ask is if women are allowed in to positions of leadership. They take that as aggression but I think it's a valid topic. The last thing I mention is voucher programs that take money from private schools. They usually deny that exists. Thanks for writing!
