White people are overrepresented among our teachers. My wife, who is from Peru, is in the process of getting her license and she recently had her cooperating teacher quit on her at the last minute in an act that felt like sabotage (this teacher was an admitted Trump supporter). I'm sorry for your classroom experience. We need to reform education, it's not a liberal institution at all.
