Yeah, I'm in a similar situation with my dad. Maybe it's something about that generation. My dad always insisted that if he hurt people on accident he wasn't responsible for the pain. I realized he was insane when he told me he accidentally ran over some guy's dog but the guy didn't have a right to be mad at him because it was an accident. The thing is... a lot of "accidents" tend to happen around that guy. I remember getting "accidentally" punched in the face or having my hand "accidentally" slammed in a door. I have two kids. Those kind of "accidents" don't happen to them. Weird huh?
