Yeah, it would be good manners. But I really can't understand why a writer wouldn't jump at the opportunity to get some real media attention. I've had articles that were shared hundreds of thousands of times. It doesn't always happen, but when it does you sell some books. I wonder if they would have responded if Stephen King offered to tweet their book link? I honestly don't know if they would have.
