Yeah, the counter arguments can be brutal. You aren’t making excuses, but you are saying something that contradicts the accepted (and inaccurate) narrative.

The guy who suggested the medical community should wash their hands before surgery was beaten to death in a mental institution. Taking on the accepted narrative is dangerous, but it needs to be done because the accepted narrative is utter nonsense (and it’s getting people killed).
