Yes, and that's the case with most writers. I've had a few publishing contracts, but I've never had a bigger platform than I do now. Yet, these days I can't get a whiff from a publisher. I think it's bizarre that it doesn't seem to matter how much of a following you have. It's like the industry doesn't even care if you've established that you have readers who want to pay for your work.
