Your teacher probably had his/her hands tied in what s/he was “allowed” to say. I write about this stuff daily in the form of opinion pieces and it always causes a huge scandal. It’s really unfortunate how much teachers are forced to present a distorted version of the truth that avoids real issues.

I think they were evil too. The whole Constitution was just written to protect their wealth. In some ways, our nation has improved, but extreme nationalism blinds people to the institutions of exploitation that remain. Thanks for commenting!
