The idea that there are "extremist" on both sides and the only "reasonable" ones are in the middle is the kind of thing Martin Luther King warned us about. You're right, they constantly get away with it, and more people need to call it out.

The deplorable GOP strategy only works BECASUE the people who should know better just sit there whispering "wow" rather than pushing back. It's so frustrating. "Oh, we can't arrest him, that will just make him more powerful." COME ON!
