Yup, this is the fundamental brainwashing of American gun rights. In this country, they just don't perceive brandishing a weapon as an attack or a threat. It's to the point where professional lawyers won't even bring this up in a jury trial. The jurors would probably dismiss the idea even if they heard it. It takes a long time for brainwashed people to return to sanity, and the United States isn't even trying to get there.
